Inspired by virus.sucks
The virus.sucks Pluslife Analyzer inspired Pod Check. Pod Check’s interface and device communication code were written independently.
A clearer way to start
One test is shown by default. Connect your Pluslife, choose the kit, then start a test or follow one already running. Plain-language next steps replace repeated instructions, and connection details stay out of the way until you need them.
Two machines, one view
Add a second Pluslife when you need it. Each test has its own name, controls, readings, and result. The overview keeps both visible, and device locks help prevent the same machine from being assigned twice, including across tabs.
See whether readings are actually arriving
A connected Bluetooth link does not always mean fresh test data. Pod Check tracks the last device message and last channel reading separately, flags delays, and shows whether the latest readings have been saved.
Keep track of people and past tests
Names stay with saved tests and JSON exports. After a completed test, “Test someone else” saves that session, checks that the device is idle, and clears the name while keeping the connection. You can also import a virus.sucks JSON export.
Explore without connecting a machine
Choose a negative, positive, or inconclusive demo to see matching simulated readings and results. You can also simulate a lost connection. Every demo is labeled, and no real test is started.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE USING IT
Still experimental
Pod Check has automated tests using simulated devices and synthetic data. It has not yet been validated with physical Pluslife hardware, including two machines running together. Connection recovery and long test runs still need that testing.
It does not diagnose from graph shapes or predict a positive or negative result. Follow the device indicators and kit instructions, and do not use the app alone for health decisions. Pod Check is independent of Pluslife and virus.sucks / Lucentia.
Next validation steps include Bluetooth interruption and recovery, USB unplugging and reconnecting, long runs, and two devices operating at once.
Your browser, your records
No account is needed. Test records stay in this browser unless you export them or explicitly enable webhooks to send data to a service you choose. Clearing browser storage can erase saved tests, so export anything you want to keep.
We use GoatCounter to see how often Pod Check is visited. It doesn’t use tracking cookies, store IP addresses in its database, or share analytics data with third parties. Read GoatCounter’s privacy policy.
Browser support
Desktop Chrome is the primary supported browser. Bluetooth and USB access depend on browser support and permissions. This app does not claim iPhone or iPad compatibility.
